Getting Started

Sensora is built to be as accessible and intuitive as possible. Whether you’re a contributor or a builder, you can start interacting with the protocol in just a few steps.

Step 1: Install a Base-Compatible Wallet

  • Install a crypto wallet such as MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, or Rabby.

  • Add the Base network to your wallet configuration.

  • This wallet will be used for:

    • Registering datasets.

    • Receiving token rewards.

    • Building your on-chain contributor reputation.

Step 2: Connect to the Sensora Portal

  • Visit the official Sensora web portal.

  • Connect your Base wallet to authenticate.

  • Access your dashboard showing:

    • Datasets you’ve uploaded.

    • Your reputation score.

    • Rewards earned.

Step 3: Submit Your First Dataset

  • Choose the type of dataset you want to contribute:

    • Camera images or videos.

    • LiDAR point clouds.

    • GPS + IMU logs.

    • IoT sensor readings (temperature, pollution, traffic, etc.).

  • Attach required metadata: sensor type, timestamp, location, format.

  • Upload data (stored off-chain via IPFS/Arweave, with hashes on-chain).

Step 4: Earn Reputation & Rewards

  • The MCP-Sensora scoring module will evaluate your dataset by Quality, Relevance, and Diversity.

  • Your on-chain reputation will update automatically.

  • Rewards are distributed in $SENS tokens, proportional to your contribution score.

Step 5: Access and Build with Datasets

  • As a builder, use the API or SDKs to explore the dataset pool.

  • Filter datasets by type, score, or context.

  • Import directly into ML pipelines (OpenCV, PyTorch, ROS).

  • If you’re a contributor, higher reputation scores unlock access to premium datasets shared by others.

With just these steps, you can move from being a data provider to an active builder in the Sensora ecosystem. Over time, contributors develop stronger reputations, while builders gain access to ever-growing datasets — creating a positive feedback loop for the entire community.
